Hambantota is the largest district in the Southern province in Sri Lanka, and most of the shores of the southern sea belong to this district. this area is famous for producing the sea salt from the sea minerals, and is part of the ancient history of Sri Lanka. Even though Hambantota suffered major losses from the tsunami in 2004, the area still attracts many tourists from around the world because of its sandy beaches, sea waves, and sea breeze. The sea here provides entrances to three national parks where a traveler will be able to enjoy the wild life of Sri Lanka. This beach is famous for sea turtles and its vast wildlife marine as well.
