Seetawaka Wet Zone Botanical Garden was established in 2014, making it the latest botanic garden to be established in Sri Lanka. The moisture and the water that the plants and flowers need is supplied from a stream that runs through the garden. This botanical garden is not just an attraction to the country, but it also serves as a research centers to countless students from universities in the country. Seetawaka Botanical Garden is also used for preserving endemic plants of Sinharaja forest as well. There are flower nurseries and beautiful flower gardens for travelers to enjoy in this botanical garden for a traveler to see, and the garden is open to the public all year long.
